EC calls for party registration for National Assembly by-election

KATHMANDU, Jan 8: The Election Commission (EC) has published notice for the registration of political parties for the National Assembly member by-election to be held on January 25.

The EC has published the notice asking for party registration from January 8 to 9. The EC has informed that a by-election is going to be held for a vacant post of National Assembly member from Lumbini Province.

There is a provision to call for party registration and registration before every election.
