East-West Highway blocked in Rautahat

KATHMANDU, Dec 30: Rautahat section of the East-West Highway has been blocked due to a protest by the locals, following a road accident involving death of one person, Tuesday morning. State-owned Nepal Television reported that the locals have blocked the highway demanding compensation to the family of the deceased who was killed after being knocked down by a bus. Another person is injured in the accident. Avenues TV said the deceased is Sanjay Kumar Magar of Kathmandu.
