RATNANAGAR, Chitwan, June 14: The 24 earthquake survivor families at Kaule-9, Guchiwang are to be shifted to the Jutpani School ground.

Earlier, the District Natural Disaster Management Committee had planned to evacuate these families to the open ground close to the Kalima Temple at Shaktikhor. But the plan had to be dropped due to a dispute.

The committee decided to shift these families to the school ground for the time being after a discussion between the local political parties and the committee decided on this, Balram Luitel, the Information Officer at the Committee, said.

It is said fissures have developed on the ground at the remote Guchiwang in Kaule area of the district due to the earthquake, posing threat to the settlements there. RSS
