KATHMANDU, Oct 19: An earthquake measuring 5.9 on the Richter Scale rattled Kathmandu on Wednesday afternoon at 3:07.
The epicenter of the earthquake is located on the Nepal-China border in Sindhupalchowk district.
Early morning earthquake rattles Banke
According to the National Earthquake Monitoring & Research Center, Department of Mines and Geology, the epicenter is located in Khasa, on the Chinese side of the border.
The earthquake was also felt in districts adjoining the Kathmandu Valley.
