MARTADI, Jan 28: An earthquake was felt in Bajura today morning. The Seismological Centre Kathmandu stated that the tremor that occurred at 7.59am measured 4.2 in the Richter scale.
Seismologist Mukunda Bhattarai said the epicenter of the earthquake was located at Dobato to the north of Rugin and to the south of Bichhya of Himali rural municipality. The epicenter is on the north-east of the district.
According to him, the earthquake did not cause any damage as there are no human settlements near around the epicenter. The people in the district were panicked by the early morning tremor.
