Ear hospital being constructed in Birgunj

BIRGUNJ, Sept 8: The construction of a systematic ear hospital with a budget of Rs 90 million has started in Birgunj.

General Secretary of Impact Nepal, Dr. Bimal Sinha informed Republica Online that the construction works of ‘Runta Welfare Ear Treatment Center” is on a war footing at Birgunj-19, Bahuari. 

Around four katthas of land worth around Rs 20 million was donated for the construction of the hospital.

‘Rungta Welfare Society’ that has been involved in providing social aids to notable number of hospitals, community schools and backward societies, formally handed over the land for the construction of the hospital organizing a special ceremony on Thursday.

The five-storey hospital aims to provide facilities to the patients with the ear-related ailments in mid-Tarai.

Speaking on the occasion, lawmaker Anil Rungta claimed that the hospital will be a model in the whole country.

Chief District Officer of Parsa District, Keshav Raj Ghimire lauded the organization saying that it has made significant contribution in Birgunj area.   

Also speaking industrialist Muralidhar Rungta said that the organization will continue support in the near future.
