KATHMANDU, Dec 10: Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Madhu Nepal has been arrested on charges of polygamy.
A team from the Rupandehi District Police Office detained Nepal, who was serving at the Eastern Nawalparasi District Police Office.

Nepal was arrested based on a complaint filed by his former wife. Police have begun an investigation while keeping him in custody.
Nepal has one daughter from his first wife and two daughters from his second wife. Following his arrest, the process for his suspension has been initiated.
