JANAKPURDHAM, Dec 3: A 28-year-old tractor driver lost his life after the sugarcane-laden tractor he was driving overturned in Dhanusha on Tuesday morning.
The deceased has been identified as Sunil Das, a resident of Bhangaha Municipality-4, Mahottari. The tractor (Ja 1 Ta 4616) was en route to Siraha from Dhalkebar when it overturned near Jagdev Bridge in Dhanushadham Municipality-6 along the East-West Highway at around 9:30 am.

Das, who suffered serious injuries, was rushed to Lalgarh Model Hospital, where doctors pronounced him dead, according to Police Inspector Umashankar Yadav of the Area Police Office, Dhalkebar.
The body has been sent to the Provincial Hospital in Janakpur for a postmortem, and police have initiated further investigation into the accident.
