Driver along with Bolero jeep remains unaccounted for

BENI (MYAGDI), Nov 25: A driver along with his Bolero jeep has remained unaccounted for since Tuesday night. 



The jeep (Ga 2 Pa 3660) was en route to Uttari Ghar from Beni – the district headquarters of Myadgi – when it disappeared along the Beni – Jomsom road stretch with its driver Ramesh Khadka, District Police Office (DPO), Myagdi said. 



The police and the locals have launched a search operation at the Beni – Pokharebagar section along the Beni – Jomsom road following information from the missing driver's relatives, Myagdi's Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP), Bishwo Raj Khadka, said. 



The police claim to have found a tarpaulin sheet in between Kaligandaki river and Bainsari road of Bhagwati – 2, but could not find the vehicle and the driver. 



The DSP said police have been mobilized in and around Kali bridge bus park of Beni and Kaligandaki river at Pokharebagar to search for the missing vehicle. The jeep had made its last contact at Baisari after which it vanished. The driver's family informed the police only on Wednesday. 



Fire in Darwang 



Meanwhile, a house was completely gutted when a fire broke out at 3: 30 am at Bhume locality of Darwang in western Myagdi. 



The fire destroyed clothes, food commodities including cash when it engulfed Lilaram Pun's house, locals said. Human casualties have not been reported. RSS
