UDAYPUR, Jan 8: The government will be providing the expenses for the treatment of the passengers injured in the Friday's Bolero jeep accident at Ganhunbari of Hardeni – 3, Udayapur along the Siddhicharan highway.
The hospitals where the injured passengers were admitted asked for advance deposition of money before any treatment proceeded and refused treatment without the money. Outrageously, the treatment of the injured passengers was put on hold until Saturday.

The Area Police Office, Katari then approached lawmaker, Bhesh Kumari Raut, who in turn drew the attention of the Home Ministry. The passengers' treatment has now started with the government's assurance that it will bear the expenses.
Each of the passengers with injuries to the head and brain are in need for immediate Rs 500,000 each.
During the accident, Bishnu Bahadur Raut, 38, Bhesh Raj Raut, 30, Nir Bahadur Karki, 40, Resham Karki, 46, Alina Shrestha, 17 and Bimal Basnet, 14, had sustained serious injuries.
The vehicle owner Tanka Bahadur Basnet, 34, and Bhim Kumar Raut, 32, had been killed on the spot.
Meanwhile, Nir Bahadur Karki reportedly succumbed to his injuries this morning while undergoing treatment in Kathmandu, Area Police Office, Katari Chief, Chiranjibi Koirala said. RSS
