Dr Suman Thapa is all set to perform at Paleti, Nepalaya’s micro-series in the October rendition. The gig will be held for two days (October 25 and 26) at its regular venue - Nepalaya’s ‘r’ sala, Kalikasthan.
Despite being the ophthalmologist, Dr Thapa is associated with a group called Blue Fret, where he plays guitar and sings. He started his musical journey from the 90s band, Baipaas.
Lyrical poems at April’s Paleti

Dr Thapa, who mostly sings in English, will perform all songs in Nepali throughout the whole two-day gig, Nepalaya’s press statement reads. “Paleti invited him to use a different way of performing.”
“I am really excited to perform at Paleti. This opportunity is like a garden in my musical journey,” Dr Thapa said in a press statement.
Dr Thapa will also be joined by Dinesh Regmi on keyboard, Suraj Pradhan on guitar, Sundar Kumar Maharjan on percussion.
