Dr Suman Thapa performed 13 songs at Paleti, Nepalaya’s micro-series in the October rendition. The two-day gig was held on October 25 and October 26 at its regular venue - Nepalaya’s ‘r’ sala, Kalikasthan.


Despite being the ophthalmologist, Dr Thapa is associated with a group called Blue Fret, where he plays guitar and sings. He started his musical journey from the 90s band, Baipaas.


Dr Thapa, who mostly sings in English, performed songs in Nepali throughout the whole two-day gig. On the first half of the musial event, Dr Thapa sang songs related to eye and eye's vision. Then in second half, he sang his original nine songs, penned by poet/lyricist Shrawan Mukarung and composition by Abhas as per a press statement released by Nepa-laya.


Dr Thapa was joined by Dinesh Regmi on keyboard, Suraj Pradhan on guitar, Sundar Kumar Maharjan on percussion.
