KATHMANDU, Dec 27: Dr Rabi Malla has been appointed as the new Executive Director at the Gangalal National Heart Center. He has been selected as Executive Director by Health Minister Mohan Bahadur Basnet.

After the expiration of the term of former Executive Director Dr Chandra Mani Adhikari on December 22, the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP) has assigned the responsibility of the Executive Director to Dr Malla. Dr Malla is an Interventional Cardio Specialist, specializing in coronary angiography and angioplasty services.

Previously, the names of Dr Rabi Malla and Dr Arun Maskey were under consideration for the post of the Executive Director of the hospital.
