Dr Mahato pledges Rs 30m for Kriyaputri Bhawan

KATHMANDU, Oct 11: President of the Non-Resident Nepali Association (NRNA) Dr Upendra Mahato will provide Rs 30 million for the construction and repair of Kriyaputri Bhawan (a facility for mourners) in Pashupati, Kathmandu.



Dr Mahato and Member Secretary of the Pashupati Area Development Fund Sushil Nahata signed an agreement to this effect, according to a press statement received here Sunday. Dr Mahato had also previously constructed a Kriyaputri Bhawan at Pashupati at a cost of Rs 12.5 million.
