KATHMANDU, Oct 27: Dr Govinda KC has warned of staging a sit-in against the parties trying to fail the impeachment motion against suspended Chief at the Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA), Lokman Singh Karki.
Talking with Nagarik Show, Dr KC said, “I will launch a hunger strike against the parties that will try to fail the impeachment motion. Parties unaccountable toward general public will face a defeat in elections.”
He further appealed the general public to recognize the parties against the motion.

Dr KC, who has been staging hunger strike time and again demanding reforms in medical sector and impeachment of Karki, appreciated UML and CPN (Maoist Center) for supporting the impeachment motion.
Stressing that he was waiting the decision of NC, the main opposition party, Dr KC said that a spontaneous decision from NC in favor of the motion will save his face.
He further said that he was ready to face any sort of misery for the happiness of Nepalis.
“I am ready to die happily if it will bring a change in the lives of millions of Nepalis,” he said.
