KATHMANDU, Sept 20: The health condition of agitating Dr. Govinda KC has deteriorated.  He has been staging a fast-unto-death for the 20th time in Dhangadhi putting forth his seven-point demand that includes improvement of medical education and health sector. The government had sent a sky truck of Nepal Army to Dhangadhi to airlift him to Kathmandu for treatment as his condition worsened.

His muscles are drying up and bleeding has been noticed due to stomach ulcers. Doctors have requested transferring KC into a hospital with more facilities. Seti Provincial Hospital had already prepared a letter to transfer TU Teaching Hospital in Maharajganj.
