KATHMANDU, Jan 19: Deputy Prime Minister and Home Minister Bam Dev Gautam was taken to the Shahid Gangalal National Heart Center on Monday afternoon after complaints of body pain.
DPM Gautam’s son, Harish, told myrepublica.com that his father also complained of having a headache in the afternoon. “He is currently undergoing medical checkups at the neuro unit,” said Harish, adding that DPM Gautam has been diagnosed with Herpes Zoster, a skin-related illness. Harish said his father has not been admitted to the hospital and will be back home soon.

Last week, Gautam had been rushed to Norvic International Hospital after complaining of chest pains.
