KATHMANDU, Aug 8: Widespread disruption has gripped the nation's main highways in the wake of relentless overnight rainfall, triggering consequential floods and landslides. The Nepal Police have reported the blockage of numerous highways throughout the country.
Landslides have compelled the Narayanghat-Mugling road section and Siddharth highway to operate under restricted one-way conditions. A similar situation is witnessed along the Beni-Jomsom Road, Pasang Lhamu Highway, Kanti Lokpath Road, BP Highway, and the Tamor Corridor, all impeded by landslide occurrences.

The Kaligandaki Corridor, Bhimdatta Highway, and Batudar-Jogbudha road sections have also fallen victim to these adverse conditions, experiencing complete blockades.
