Chitrakar claimed gold in 50 m butterfly and 50 m breaststroke of 15-17 years age category and another in open section of 100 m individual medley. [break]Sirish Gurung of Kendriya Vidyalaya came second and Samrakshan Thapa of Little Angel´s finished third in 100 m individual medley.
Gurung of Kendriya Vidyalaya claimed twin golds in 13-14 years age group of 50 m butterfly and 50 m breaststroke. Nujen Wangmo of HIMS took 25 m butterfly in U-10 and Annan Lama of Golden Peak claimed gold in boy´s same age category.
OShin Bharati of St Mary´s won girl´s 50 m butterfly in 11-12 age group and Pasang Sherpa of Little Angel´s in boy´s category. Anjali Syangbo of The British School took girl´s 50 m title in 13-14 years age group.
Sofiya Shahi of Lincoln won gold in 50 m butterfly of girl´s 15-17 years age category and Sonira Bista of Baba took 50 m breaststroke title of same age group.
Sabu Bista of Baba clinched girl´s 25 m breaststroke title of U-10 category and Rojan Rai of Dikshanta Academy took boy´s gold in same event. Neharika Tuladhar of Lincoln Siyon Hyun Sio of Rupy´s International claimed gold medals in 50 m breaststroke of 11-12 years group of boy´s and girl´s section. Girl´s 13-14 year age group gold in 50 m breaststroke went to Anjali Syangbo of The British School.
Lincoln claimed girl´s 4X50 m relay in open section coming ahead of KISC and HIMS.
Lincoln occupies top spot with 43 points following the completion of day one while host HIMS with 29 points is in second place followed by Little Angel´s with 24 points.
Altogether 250 players from 30 schools are competing in the two-day tournament for 36 gold medals.
