KATHMANDU, Sept 18: Beginning September 18, the Department of Passport (DoP) is now accepting applications for 34-page passports. As part of this initiative, customers can opt for the 34-page passport when filling out the online application form.
Due to the depletion of the stock of 34-page passports, the government has been exclusively distributing 66-page passports for a period. These passports cater to the needs of ordinary users, with a fee of Rs 5,000 for the 34-page variant and Rs 10,000 for the 66-page version.
Following the suspension of issuing 34-page passports, the government began charging a fee of Rs 5,000 for both 34-page and 66-page passports, from June 18, 2023.
