Dolakha DPHO sans chief

DOLAKHA, Aug 23: Works of the District Public Health office, Dolakha, have been hampered due to the absence of a chief. The office is without a chief after its former chief Madan Kumar Shrestha was promoted. Currently, health inspector Durga Prasad Shivakoti has been taking the responsibility.



Shivakoti said it has been difficult for him to take decisions on delegation of responsibilities. The office also does not have a lab technician, supervisor and assistant statistician. The assistant statistician has not been available for the past four months and the lab technician for one year. Even health workers at health centers in rural areas have not been available.
