KATHMANDU, April 2: Bijay Yadav, 28, a doctor at Nobel hospital was found dead early today. Yadav was found dead at the compound inside the main gate of his renting house, according to Police Spokesperson and Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Deepak Shrestha of Morang District. The body was found 200 meters away from Noble Hospital, where Yadav worked. 

Upon close inspection, Yadav’s body was found inside the gate with his head bowed and with only one shoe on his foot. Scars of blood were seen flowing from his mouth and elbow. A woman's shoe and a lighter was also found near Yadav's body, police said.

On Friday, Yadav had left the hospital at 5PM after finishing his duty. He then headed near Biratnagar Airport to meet two of his friends, where they all consumed alcohol.  According to the two friends, they had dropped Yadav around 50 meters from his room. Police have put six others in custody for interrogation over the death of Yadav.

The relatives of the deceased have demanded an impartial investigation into the incident. Yadav's uncle Upendra Yadav has claimed that his nephew was murdered in a planned manner. 

An MBBS doctor, Yadav had been working at Nobel Hospital for the past three years. He was working at the orthopedic ward.
