Doctor arrested after patient dies following injection

RAUTAHAT, July 5: Police have arrested a doctor after a patient died in Bhalohiya VDC of the district.

Rafique Miya,50, of Bhalohiya VDC-2 reportedly died minutes after he was administered an injection by doctor Rabi Ahmed. A resident of Saitapurwa village of Sitamadhi, India, Ahmed was running an ayurvedic clinic at Pipara bazaar for the past 25 years.


Locals have charged the doctor of administering Miya injection without indentifying the health complication. An investigation has been launched into the incident, DSP at the district police office, Rautahat Sudhirraj Shahi said. RSS
