KATHMANDU, April 18: Doctors involved in management of critically ill patients have formed the Nepalese Society of Critical Care Medicine (NSCCM) on Sunday.



More than five dozens anesthesiologists, physicians and cardiologists formed an ad-hoc committee of the society under the chairmanship of Dr Moda Nath Marhatta.



According to Dr Subhash Prasad Acharya, joint secretary of the society, the association will focus on improving the status of critical care, form the guidelines of management of critical care units, and emphasize on developing specialist education for critical care.
