KATHMANDU, June 15: The ministry-wise deliberations on the Appropriations Bill, 2023 have kicked off in the House of Representatives (HoR) from today.
Discussions will be held on the various topics related to three ministries in the parliament today.
'Climate relevant' budget allocation said to be unrealistic
Speaker Devraj Ghimire informed the lower house of the Federal Parliament that collective deliberations would be held on the appropriations topics related to the Ministry of Forests and Environment, the Ministry of Women, Children and Senior Citizens, and the Ministry of Youths and Sports in today's meeting.
Prior to this, the HoR held general discussions on the annual estimate of revenue and expenditure for the forthcoming fiscal year. The government had presented the budget for the next fiscal year in the joint sitting of the federal parliament on May 29.
