Deputy Mayor Dangol informed Republica that waste management is the first priority and they will work to improve the education sector later.

Dangol said that raising the level of education and infrastructure of government schools in the metropolis is her priority. “We are not in favor of merging government schools just because the number of students is small. We are planning to raise the standard of existing government schools and increase the number of students there," said Deputy Mayor Dangol.

NRM Director Gyawali said that NRM is ready to move forward by cooperating with various programs organized by KMC. She said, "There are many problems in Kathmandu metropolis. Guardians were needed to solve these problems. Now, the metropolis has got its guardians. We believe that you will bring the metropolis out of those problems.”
