KATHMANDU, July 9: Discussion regarding a public interest proposal regarding the deteriorating health condition of Dr. Govinda KC will take place today in the federal parliamentarian meeting. The proposal was put forward by Nepali Congress, the main opposition party.

Parliamentarian Dilendra Prasad Badu had filed the proposal on Friday for discussion. This was seconded by Parbati DC Chaudhary and Atahar Kamal Musalman.
KC is on his fifteenth hunger strike at Jumla where his health has been deteriorating rapidly.
