KATHMANDU, Jan 1: WorldLink Store has introduced Digisol networking products and Digilite motherboard in the Nepali market.
The company has introduced DG-BR4000N/E 4 port wireless broadband router, DG-WN3300N wireless USB adaptor, wireless micro USB adaptor, 8, 16 and 24 port fast Ethernet desktop and unmanaged switches from Digisol and H61 and G41 motherboard from Digilite.
“Demand for routers and networking products are increasing in the country, thanks to the rise in the number of Internet users. The new products will fulfill that demand,” said Aditya Lakhey, marketing executive of WorldLink Store.
According to Lakhey, Digisol DG-BR4000N/E 150Mbps wireless broadband router enables communication between wired and wireless notebooks or desktop computers in the network and also allows Internet connectivity to the network. “The device provides high performance and is cost-effective”, he said, adding, “It is best for home and small business environments.”
The company has priced the device at Rs 2,300.
DG-WN3300N wireless USB adapter and wireless micro USB adaptor enable notebook or desktop computers having USB interface to connect wirelessly with other clients in the network. According to the company, the USB adapter can achieve wireless data transmission rate up to 300Mbps, while the micro USB adaptor supports wireless data transmission rate up to 150 Mbps.
Both the devices enhance the sharing of files, photo, audio, video and gaming experience over wireless network. Customers can get the USB adaptor and micro USB adaptor at Rs 1,800 and Rs 1,300, respectively.
Likewise, Ethernet Desktop unmanaged switch is designed to enhance network performance, said Lakhey. According to him, the switch uses store and forward packet-switching technology which offers reliable data transfer.
The switch comes with 8, 16 and 24 ports, offering solutions for accelerating bandwidth needs of small Ethernet workgroups. Lakhey said these switches are useful for network connectivity for small office or home office (SOHO) environment.
The company has fixed the price of 8 port switches at Rs 1,300, 16 port switches at Rs 3,600 and 24 port switches at Rs 5,500.
WorldLink Store provides one year warranty on all networking products.
Both the newly introduced H61 and G41 mother board from Digilite comes with 2-year burn warranty. The H61 motherboard is available at Rs 5,600, while the G41 motherboard costs Rs 4,300.
