RAJBIRAJ, Sept 15: An epidemic of vomiting and diarrhea has gripped the Jamuni Madhepura VDC-2 in Saptari for the past few days. So far around 60 people of 25 families in the village have taken seriously ill.
The family of a local Shankar Sharma was the first victim of the disease that emerged three days ago and later spread to the entire village, taking an epidemic turns. Children and aged people have been mostly affected by the disease, the District Public Health Office, Saptari said. The Office said that it has already deputed a medical team in the affected village.
