Manju Basnet, 25, of Jungu VDC-8, died on the way while being taken to the health center in Mainapokhari, a local teacher Dhal Bahadur Khadka said.
Shanti Basnet, another woman of the same village, has also taken ill to diarrhea and has been taken to the health center in Singati for treatment.
According to Chief District Officer Prakash Chandra Adhikari, they have sent a team of health workers from the District Health Office with medicine to the village on Sunday.
