Recently appointed as the Sanitation Brand Ambassadors by the government, the couple will travel to about 24 states in the US to give a treat to Nepalis residing there with their humorous skits.
World Business Management and Consultant (WBMC) America, in cooperation from WBMC Nepal, is organizing the event '2072 New Year Dhamaka Part 1' in which Dhurmus and Suntali are not only spreading laughter but also generating awareness related to the sanitation status of Nepal.
Speaking at a press meet held in Kathmandu on Thursday, Kunjana said that she'll try to motivate Nepalis living in the US to help aid cleanliness campaigns in Nepal. Sitaram added, "We especially want to request them to help in the construction of convenient latrines in the far western regions of Nepal.
Accompanying the couple is singer Pramod Kharel who said he'll call for Nepalis over there to contribute for the development of cricket in Nepal.
WBMC Nepal's CEO Sharada Poudel Regmi said that proceedings from the event will go to the welfare of orphanages that aren't well equipped and needs help.
"We'll be able to point out the exact amount of money only after the event is over," Regmi said.
'2072 New Year Dhamaka Part 1' will kick off on April 4 in Virginia, USA, and will conclude in Seattle on May 30.
