KATHMANDU, Aug 3: Prime Minister KP Oli has yet again reshuffled his cabinet on Friday.
Nepal Communist Party leader Bhanubhakta Dhakal has been appointed Minister for Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs. After Sher Bahadur Tamang resigned from the ministerial post following his controversial remarks about Nepali students pursing medical education in Bangladesh on July 24, the post of the minister for Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs was lying vacant.
Dhakal was elected to parliament from Morang-3. Similarly, Minister of State for Health Padma Aryal has been appointed Minister of Land Management, Cooperatives and Poverty Alleviation.
Similarly, Federal Socialist Forum Nepal leader Surenda Yadav has been appointed as new health minister.
President Bidya Devi Bhandari administered their oath of office and secrecy.
With Friday’s expansion, the size of the cabinet has reached 25 members as enshrined in the constitution.
Likewise, state minister Padma Aryal has been named Minister for Land Management and Surendra Yadav has been made health minister.
