KATHMANDU, May 8: CPN-UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli has said that the Nepali Congress (NC) President Sher Bahadur Deuba ruined his party just to secure his post of the prime minister.
Speaking at an election rally organized by his party in Chitwan on Sunday, Chairman Oli said that President Deuba had ruined his party in the name of alliance.
On the occasion, he questioned why no action was taken against CPN (Maoist Center) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal even as he openly threatened voters. “Why wasn't any action taken against Dahal for threatening and intimidating the voters?” Oli questioned.
Chairman Oli urged the public not to vote for a person who threatens and intimidates others to vote for him. “The leg of the coalition should be broken. This government is not for the people as it was formed out of the court’s mandamus. We should bid farewell to it at the earliest,” Oli said.
