Director General, Madhav Kumar Karki said that the construction was not completed in time due to earthquakes and blockade.
“It not justifiable that the ruling party pickets and tries to halt works at a government office,” he said.
Chief of Bridge Project at DoR, Saroj Pradhan said that despite initial delay, construction work is in full swing.
“The work was affected due to the earthquake and the blockade,” he said, “The process to import construction materials from China has started and the construction will be completed by next the fiscal year.”
Chief of Kalika Construction, Bikram Pandey said that the materials will be imported within two months and the work will then accelerate.
