Demand to stop voters registration

BANKE (Nepalgunj), April 30: Joint Democratic Madhesi Front (JDMF), Banke has demanded to immediately stop the collection of voters’ registration with image.



Issuing a joint press release on Friday, Madhesi Janaadhikar Forum Democratic, Banke Chairperson Hiralal Loniya, Sadbhawana party District Chairperson Laxmi Narayan Barma and Terai-Madhes Democratic Party, District Chairperson Girja Shanker Pathak warned to come up with string agitation if their demands were not heeded. The meeting of the JDMF concluded that making citizenship certificate mandatory for voters’ registration is merely a conspiracy to deprive Madhesi, Muslim, nationalities and Dalits of their voting rights
