NAGARKOT, Oct 30: Defense Minister Bidhya Bhandari came heavily over the human right activists for being silent in the issues of the Maoist combatant´s ´involvement´ in the various criminal activities.

"Combatants who are on leave are found involved in murder and abduction activities, but they (human rights activists) are silent over it", she said.[break]

Speaking with the party cadres at Nagarkot, she said if the Nepal Army personnel were found involved in similar cases then their (human rights activists) voice would be raised louder.

Minister Bhandari also accused Maoist combatants for the current political deadlock and claimed the Maoist leaders are unable to monitor their own cadres.
