Deepak Maharjan and Niraj Niroula won their respective second round matches. Deepak who lost to GM on Friday defeated unrated Aahan Nachane of India in the 25th move Saturday.
Likewise, Niraj Niroula absent in the first round match Friday started with a winning note while Prakash Nepal played a draw.
The first FIDE Master from Nepal, Manish Hamal, played a draw with 2386 rated IM of India Subrajeet. Hamal is on the second spot with 1.5 points. Hamal and Prakash had reached Mumbai on Saturday.
