"Besides essential service providers, we have urged the government to provide electricity to the industries round the clock that have been providing to over 100 employees," said CNI President Hari Bhakta Sharma.
There is a provision that dedicated electric feeders will be charged the double of the normal electricity bill.
Currently, the dedicated electric feeder is charged Rs 22 per unit.
However, the bill charged under dedicated electric feeder is cheaper than the electricity produced through thermal plant such as generator.
According to experts, the thermal electricity is charged at least Rs 30 per unit.
