Dead body of a man found in Hanumante River in Madhyapur Thimi

KATHMANDU, March 4: The dead body of a man was discovered alongside a scooter in Bhaktapur.

The deceased has been identified as 26-year-old Chhatra Thapa from Ilam Municipality-3 of Ilam. His body was found in the Hanumante River at Radhe Radhe, Madhyapur Thimi Municipality-9, at 6:30 this morning.

Authorities from the District Police Range, Bhaktapur, said that a scooter was found (Ba 86 Pa 9730) in the river alongside Thapa’s body.

It is said that Thapa had been residing in Tinkune, Thapa's body has been transferred to KMC Hospital in Duwakot for a post-mortem.
