Baitadi, June 24: Dashrathchand Municipality in Baitadi district has been sealed for a week after the municipality area witnessed a sharp increase in the cases of Covid-19.
The municipality area has been sealed for a week starting Wednesday in order to curb the spread of Covid-19, according to Mayor Narendra Singh Thapa.

Only essential services such as pharmacies, ambulances and other emergency vehicles are allowed to operate during this period. Banks and other financial institutions are allowed to provide their services for three days-- Sunday, Tuesday and Thursday-- a week, according to Mayor Thapa.
Dashrath Chand Municipality has witnessed 29 cases of Covid-19 as of Wednesday.
