Damak, Madhyapur, Panauti win in Inter-metro Volleyball

KATHMANDU, July 7: Madhyapur and Panauti municipalities won their respective group matches Tuesday under the first Inter-Metro Volleyball Tournament held at the covered hall of National Sports Council.[break]



Madhyapur recorded a comfortable win over Thimi Municipality in straight sets 25-20, 25-10, 26-24. Likewise, Panauti eased past Bhaktapur Municipality in straight sets 25-20, 25-12, 25-22.



Similarly, Damak Municipality defeated Banepa Municipality in 25-16, 22-25, 25-18, 25-13. In another match, Dhulikhel Municipality enjoyed walkover from Nepalgunj Municipality as the latter were not present in the tournament.



Nepal Volleyball Association is the tournament organizer.
