KATHMANDU, June 29: Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) on Sunday escalated by 26.53 points to close at 2,622.28 points.
The secondary market opened at 2,595.74 points and gradually went up throughout the trading hours. Overall, the market index grew 1.02 percent in the intraday trading.

Manufacturing and processing, descending by 39.45 points, was the single loser. Of the 11 gainers, life insurance added the largest of 103.04 points.
The sensitive index which measures the performance of ‘A’ class companies inclined 4.70 points. The daily turnover amount decreased to Rs 7.12 billion from Rs 7.78 billion on Thursday, the last trading day of the last week.
Among the individual companies, 185 were gainers while 63 were recorded as the losers. Sahas Urja Limited had the largest turnover of its shares worth Rs 578.68 million.
Saptakoshi Development Bank gained the highest of 9.99 percent of its market value. Joshi Hydropower Development Company shed 5.57 percent of its market price and was registered as the highest loser.
