Dahal, Yadav hold meeting with leader Nepal

KATHMANDU, July 20: Discussions among the ruling parties regarding the expansion of the cabinet has intensified after Prime Minister and Nepali Congress (NC) President Sher Bahadur Deuba received a vote of confidence in parliament,

In this regard, CPN (Maoist Center) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal and Janata Samajbadi Party Nepal (JSP) Chairman Upendra Yadav had separate meetings with CPN-UML senior leader Madhav Kumar Nepal.

Maoist Center Chairman Dahal and JSP Chairman Yadav reached Nepal’s residence in Koteshwar for the meeting. It is understood that the current political situation of the country, expansion of the cabinet and other issues were discussed during the meeting held at the residence of leader Nepal today.

However, leaders from both sides have not given any formal response to the media regarding the meeting. Meanwhile, JSP executive committee member Mohammad Istiaq Rai said that Yadav discussed the current issues with Nepal and would provide details in the afternoon.  

According to him, the meeting of the parliamentary party of JSP will be held at Singha Durbar later today. Prior to the meeting, Chairman Yadav held party consultations as well. Maoist Chairman Prachanda and leader Nepal had a one-hour talk.

After that, Chairman Yadav also had a separate discussion with leader Nepal.
