KATHMANDU, July 25: Pradeep Gyawali, a standing committee member of the CPN-UML has said that no one can break the unity of the party even if someone wants to.
He said that the party would move forward unitedly as per the 10-point agreement earlier prepared by the joint task force.
At a press conference organized by the Press Chautari Nepal, Gyawali said some party members are trying to weaken the party with the help of opposition parties.
He said that some big leaders within their own party played a key role in the formation of the current government. “By forgetting the past, the party will move forward in a united manner,” Gyawali added.
Furthermore, stating that a wrong decision from the referee might create controversy, Gyawali said that it is not a big deal for the CPN-UML to either stay in power or in opposition.
Leader Gyawali who reached Gulmi Durbar Rural Municipality in his home district on Saturday to pay his condolences to late Chairman Ashok Kumar Thapa, briefed the CPN-UML leaders and cadres on the party’s internal affairs and the current political developments at the party’s office there on Sunday.
