“The so-called parliamentary political parties are the agent of foreign reactionary forces and they are trying to destroy the people´s supremacy by serving the interest of the reactionary forces,” he said, addressing the first national conference of the society for the family of those disappeared by the state on Saturday.
During his entire address, Dahal criticized political parties, foreign countries and Nepal Army Chief General Rookmangud Katawal.
He said the army chief ridiculed the civilian supremacy. “Those parties which are running after Katawal are anti-nationalists, undemocratic and the agents of foreign reactionary forces,” he said. “We will never surrender before the reactionary forces.”
Justifying his resignation from the post of prime minister, he said, “My resignation was to promote the civilian supremacy. But the president ignored the people´s supremacy and promoted military supremacy.”
He said his party has launched a movement to restore people´s supremacy. “You all should get ready for more complicated and serious movement to establish peoples´ supremacy. We have the responsibility to write a new constitution and take the peace process to its logical end,” he said. “National and international reactionary forces are conspiring to derail the peace process.”
