Dahal 'positive' about peace

KATHMANDU, Sept 22: Maoist Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal said on Thursday that he is “positive” about settlement of all contentious issues of the peace process and asked Nepali Congress for cooperation to immediately begin categorization of ex-Maoist combatants.



Dahal expressed his willingness to compromise on contentious issues of the peace process during a meeting with NC President Sushil Koirala on Thursday. [break]



This is the first meeting between Dahal and Koirala since the last peace talks between the Maoist party and Nepali Congress last week.
