Chairman Dahal was flanked by senior leaders Dr Baburam Bhattarai, Posta Bahadur Bogati, Shakti Basnet, Haribol Gajurel and Nabraj Subedi.
The UCPN (Maoist) leaders visited Bhujela of Bhimdutta Municipality, Zero Point, Piparaiya and Dodhara Chandani.[break]
Talking to locals on the occasion, UCPN (Maoist) Chairman Dahal assured of complete support and assistance from the side of party for the rehabilitation of the flood displaced people and control the Mahakali River.
He also said that efforts were underway to construct a bridge over the Mahakali River in the Nepali side and added that he has raised the issue of constructing a dry port in Dodhara.
The Maoist Chairman also said that maximum efforts would be taken to address the problems of flood victims, displaced by the wildlife reserve, Haliya, Freed Kamaiya, Badi community and squatters.
Dahal is scheduled to hold separate interactions with the cadres in Dodhara and Mahendranagar today itself.
