Personal Secretary to Chairman Dahal, Chudamani Khadka said during the meeting, the issues relating to bilateral relations and the mutual interests between Nepal and China and were discussed.[break]
The discussion stressed on furthering the two-country relations on a new basis.
On the occasion, the Chinese Vice-President inquired Chairman Dahal about the latest political development in Nepal. He said Chinese government was always ready to extend help to Nepal for its stability and development.
Similarly, they discussed on the assistance on strengthening and extension of relations between the UCPN-Maoist and the Chinese Communist Party.
Personal Secretary Khadka further said Vice-President Yuonchao hosted a dinner in honor of Chairman Dahal.
Moreover, Chairman Dahal met Foreign Minister of China, Wang Yi on Wednesday. Strengthening of relations between the two countries was discussed on the occasion.
Even an interaction was held with the Chinese intellects and experts about the economic development of China. Chairman Dahal garnered information about how the Chinese experience would help Nepal develop its agriculture and economy.
Chairman Dahal also paid tribute to revolutionary Chinese leader Mao Zedong by reaching to the leader´s memorial site.
