On the occasion, President Mukherjee praised Nepal's political parties for their success in framing the first draft of the constitution being based on the 16-point agreement and taking the document to the public sphere for people's submissions, according to Dahal's aide Shiva Khakurel who is accompanying him.
Leader Dahal briefed the Indian President about the situation the political parties went through while preparing the new constitution's draft. He was suggested by the Indian President not to give any one chance to complain that their voices were unheard while finalizing the draft of the constitution.
In response, UCPN (M) Chair Dahal said the party was ready to promulgate the new constitution at the consent of all parties, pledging to address the sentiments of entire sections in the new constitution. RSS
