Dahal informed media about the agreement after meeting HLPM co-ordinator and Nepali Congress president Girija Prasad Koirala at his residence.[break]
Dahal earlier had said that PM would not be included in the mechanism. “Why to include somebody who has caused the political impasse,” Dahal had said.
According to Krishna Prasad Sitaula, Dahal agreed to include PM as an invitee after Koirala proposed it in accordance to the agreement with CPN-UML chairman Jhala Nath Khanal on Wednesday.
Sitaula also informed that immediately after return of Khanal, who is touring India, the mechanism will meet to finalize the terms of reference of the mechanism.
